Delete your ClearMinutes account

Straits Ventures · Last updated 28 July 2026

You can delete your ClearMinutes account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it. The in-app route is immediate; the email route exists in case you no longer have the app installed.

Option 1 — in the app (immediate)

  1. Open ClearMinutes.
  2. Go to Settings → Privacy.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. Your data is removed straight away.

Export first if you want to keep anything. Deletion cannot be undone. Before deleting, use Settings → Privacy → Export my data to download all of your transcripts as a single file.

Option 2 — by email

If you have uninstalled the app, email ronan@straitsventures.org from the address registered to your account, with the subject line "ClearMinutes account deletion request".

We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm the request from your registered email address; we do this to prevent someone else deleting your account, and we will not ask you for a password or payment details.
